School is Out. Do You Know Where YOUR Teenage is Right Now?
It’s an old cliché, but the saying about ‘Idle Hands Being the Devil’s Plaything’ rings doubly true for teenagers. When it comes to summertime, the lack of structure and warm weather allows those curious ‘young adults’ who are fresh out of school plenty of opportunities to roam free. When that ample amount of free time is combined with an underdeveloped prefrontal cortext (the part of our brain responsible for logical decision-making and impulse control), you’re just asking for trouble.
