The Courier Journal recently talked to The Morton Center’s Priscilla McIntosh about how statistics show that kids are increasingly experimenting with alcohol at a younger age – as early as 12- or 13-years old – and local treatment centers have started pushing parents and schools to begin prevention earlier, lest children increase their chances of developing life-long mental or physical issues.
