Meth is Back, and it’s Being Combined with Heroin Across Kentucky
Despite recent declarations from the Federal government, drug abuse continues to climb across America, including all over the state of Kentucky. Right now, authorities are talking mainly about opioids like heroin. There are certainly many reasons their concerns are valid-opioids were implicated in some 2/3 of overdose deaths last year. But what about that other third? It’s climbing, too. And meth is playing a major role.
Methamphetamine is an incredibly powerful stimulant and perhaps the most physically addictive drug available on the drug market.
